Amber Weissert is an enthusiastic and dedicated performer. She prides herself in being a multidisciplinary artist, consistently using her talents as a choreographer, director, playwright, and educator in everything she does. She greatly values imparting a strengthened sense of empathy to audiences through her storytelling. Physical comedy is her specialty. She is a proud member of the AEA.
MY BIOGRAPHY
Amber Weissert is a New York City based performer and choreographer. Born and raised in the Midwest she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance Performance. She recently won Best Director and Best Production for her play ECHO at The New York Theatre Festival. You can see her next in Night of Frights with Performance Check at The Green Room 42. Selected performance credits include; Juliet (Romeo and Juliet), Kari (Always a Bridesmaid), Penny (Hairspray), Sammy (The Tin Woman). Selected choreography credits include; World Premier Musical EMILY SONG AND THE QUEEN OF THE NIGHT, KISS ME KATE, THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, SEUSSICAL, and NEWSIES.
